My little Bit of Honey

How far along : 30 Weeks 4 Days, final stretch now. Development:   Baby is currently the size of a cucumber and weighs approx 3 lbs 4 oz. According to the bump his skin is getting smoother and his brain is developing. I had an ultrasound last week and he was moving around in there.  Movement:  A lot. He must be in a weird spot today because my right side is sore and it feels like he is just hitting the to of my hip constantly. Plus, one of his feet is right under my rib which has just been super painful.  Maternity Clothes:  Yup, although a lot of the ones I have are not fitting so I'm really limited as to what I can wear lately. It's been kind of depressing me a bit, I have all these cute clothes that aren't going to fit me for quite awhile..  Stretch Marks:  I remember when I was about 5-6 months along and I kept saying "I don't have any stretch marks!" yeah..I didn't know they showed up between the 7-9th month. Lovely.  Best moment of my week...

Since it's been a few weeks, I figured I'd do a bumpdate!  How far along : 29 Weeks, 4 days. Holy crap. 11 weeks to go!  Development:   According to the bump, baby is starting to develop some fat. At my last appointment the doctors said he is in the 80th percentile! I immediately got nervous thinking I was going to have a giant baby, but she assured me that they usually regulate as time goes on and it really just means he's healthy and getting the nutrients he needs, so yay for that!  Movement:  A lot of movement! He's kicking and punching away in there, which is great. Sometimes it's a bit uncomfortable, but I'm happy to feel it.  Maternity Clothes:  Oh yes. Pants/sweaters etc. I have been wearing these maternity leggings which are the most comfortable things ever! I can wear them under dresses that have become to short, so it makes my maternity wardrobe last longer!  Stretch Marks:   eh, a few. Not to many though. Best moment of my we...

First, the "Bumpdate" How Far Along: 27 Weeks 7 days (I know, I'm pretty much 28 weeks but I wanted to do one more update before I hit my 3rd Trimester) Size of Baby: A rutabaga (I really want to know who comes up with these random fruits/vegetables, a rutabaga really?)  Stretch Marks: I have 2, one where my belly button ring once was (they also used it when I got my gallbladder out) and another on my scar from my gallbladder surgery. Maternity Clothes: Yes. Yoga pants, leggings and tunics are going to be my BFFs this fall/winter. . Gender: Baby boy :)  Movement: He's a mover and a shaker, but he's on his own schedule. He gets really active when I first get to work (probably from my coffee and breakfast!), then lulls down and usually starts up again before I'm getting ready to go home.
